SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it's alarmed concerning the significant quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is a result of read more the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The assistance point developed for intervention activities a superior influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to empower the servicing of all buyers and boost usage of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
